Travel Plans

Travel plans are often required for passport applicant’s that wish to expedite their passport or visa application.  For expediting your passport through a Registered Passport Expediting Service, you will need to provide confirmed travel plans indicating upcoming international travel within the next 14 days, or 30 days if a visa is needed.

Travel plans can be a purchased plane ticket confirmation, a copy of your e-ticket, plane ticket, or a travel itinerary from a travel agency that shows your name and date of travel. A business letter on official company letterhead may also be permissible. The business letter should state your name, travel destination, and travel dates. If you need your passport for employment purposes, a substantiating letter from the HR Department may be permissible.
